Announcement: Kick-Off-Meeting

5. Juli 2022, 10:00 – 15:00 Uhr

On 05.07.2022 from 10:00 am -15:00 pm (UTC+2) the kick-off event for the priority program „Jewish Cultural Heritage“ will take place at Villa Seligmann (Hohenzollernstraße 39, 30161 Hannover, Germany).

Since the 1980s, the cultural heritage of Jews in Europe is of increasing social and political interest to an array of different, oftentimes competing stake holders. Over a period of six years, divided into two funding phases, the priority program will enable scholars to explore the diverse understandings on Jewish cultural heritage in an interdisciplinary manner.

The kick-off event for the first funding phase offers the participating institutions and researchers a forum to introduce their research projects by means of five minute presentations.

The event will take place in hybrid form. If you are interested, please fill out the registration form and send it to the European Center for Jewish Music by June 7, 2022 with your participation request – in person or digitally – or register by phone at +49-(0)511-3100-7121.

The invitation link for online participation will be sent to you a few days before the event. Travel expenses cannot be covered; there are no additional costs for participation. If you wish to stay overnight, we will be happy to help you find a hotel room.
