Professor Anthony Kauders

Anthony D. Kauders is Professor Emeritus of Modern History at Keele University. He has published widely on German-Jewish history, antisemitism, and the history of psychology (psychoanalysis, social psychology, hypnosis). He is currently co-editing a volume (together with Karl Figlio of Essex University) on History and Psychoanalysis: Interdisciplinary Dialogues and writing a book on the psychology of antisemitism. Within the framework of the priority program, the projects are accompanied by international experts (Mercator Fellows). These researchers will support the research projects with their advisory capacity. In addition, they will be at the site for several months and conduct workshops. The contact will continue after the end of the stay, which is intended to stimulate a long-term exchange with researchers from Germany and abroad.
