Article on the commemorative year 1700 years of Jewish Life in Germany: “Der ‘gojnormative’ Blick – 1700 Jahre jüdisches Leben in Deutschland?”
In issue 32 of Medaon – Magazine for Jewish Life in Research and Education – the two project leaders of the priority program’s research project Knowledge Architectures – Prof. Dr. Dani Kranz and Prof. Dr. Sarah Ross – published an article in the Miscella section on the commemorative year that celebrates 1700 years of Jewish life in Germany. The article takes a critical look at gojnormativity in the context of related commemorative events and the actors involved.
